Evangelist Terry Dorn was born prematurely. He was barely
as long as the nurse's hand. He stayed in the hospital for a
few weeks after he was born. All this to say is that from the
beginning, the devil tried to take him out. As the years went
on, we see why. He is a threat to the devil. Terry was saved
as a young boy. Later, he started leading music in his God on
his life. Like a lot of younger and older people, he made a lot
of wrong choices. Terry allowed himself to fall into the
enemy's traps. For many years, he lived a life with alcohol
and tobacco addiction. Terry fell into other worldly traps
too. Going down this worldly road caused a lot of pain for
Terry and many other people. When Terry reached his
thirties, he realized that God was still there. God did not
leave him, he left God! Cleaning up Terry's life proved to be
a long process. One night while driving down a stretch of
road in his hometown, Terry had a true encounter with our
Savior. While passing under the airport run way lights
a plane flew over head as it had done many times in the past.
This time he had been under conviction for a while. When
that airplane flew over, it really shocked him just after
having left a place where he should not have been, Terry
pulled over beside the road and got out. As he went to the
front of his truck he fell to his knees, and in a loud voice
called out to God. Terry asked God to forgive him for all the
wasted years and all the wrong things he had done. And God
did so. Terry got up and threw away the cigarettes and has
not used alcohol or tobacco since. It seemed like everyone
Terry knew came by about that time. Most of them just
figured he was just drunk again. Little did they know that
God was working a miracle. The generational curse was
broken! Some of those same people have encountered a life
changing experience under Terry's ministry. Because of him
going down this worldly road, Terry is able to minister to
those who are battling with the addictions of today. God has
placed a powerful anointing on his life and ministry. Because
of the way Terry delivers his messages, people  understand.
Those that have been involved with Terry's ministry say that
they are truly touched. God has anointed him to bring
laughter into the services as well as a dynamic salvation
message. Terry makes a strong point on the fact that your
past is the past and you need to leave it there, because God
will give you a new life in Him. It does not matter what
people try to hold over your head, it is what God is and will
do in your life today. God has also blessed Terry with the
ability and talent to play several instruments and sing.
Over the last sixteen years, Terry has been preaching and
singing to crowds all over the southeastern part of the U.S.
an into Canada. Terry and his wife Saretta are a dynamic
Evangelistic team. They have seen thousands of souls saved
and lives changed. Terry says that he believes that they are
"End time Evangelists" meaning that our Lord and Savior is
soon coming back for His church. To add to the
opportunities God has allowed Terry to do for Him, Terry
has been a pastor, associate pastor, interim pastor, and youth
pastor "All for the Glory of God". At the time of this article,
Terry is 52 years old. He is looking for a continuation in the
ministry that God has called him to.
